I am based in Chamonix which gives us access to all the great mountains of the alps within a few hours. I have 15 years experience of alpine climbing helping me to choose the best strategy for you to climb successfully and safely in the alps. If you have ideas of what you would like to climb then we can work towards that otherwise I have a catalogue of mountains, ridges and adventures that we select from according to your skills, fitness and the current conditions.
Rock climbing
Classic alpine rock routes. Multi pitch French Limestone. Granite towers. Esoteric adventures. Lonely walls in quiet valleys. I have extensive experience exploring the rock faces of Europe and the UK and I am very happy to be able to share this within my work. If you are interested in rock climbing up high in the mountains look at coming out in the summer. Where to go on a rock trip depends on the time of year, your climbing grade and what level of adventure you would like to experience.
Ski touring
Through the winter and spring I offer ski touring and off piste ski trips. There’s a range of options for skiing depending on what you’re looking for. In December and January I mostly offer off piste skiing and ski mountaineering training. As conditions build up through January and into Feb I offer Valley Blanche descents and Day trips for ski tours in the mountains around Chamonix. In March and April I additionally offer longer hut to hut ski tours where the conditions are great to traverse whole mountain ranges in Switzerland and France.
There are also some more bespoke ski options I offer including Ski mountaineering race guiding and training packages for races such as the Patrol des glaciers, and cabin based trips to Northern Norway.
